Maui Breeze is a good-looking daughter of Bated Breath who looks all speed. She has a smart pedigree and is out of an 87 rated dam who was extremely unlucky not to gain black type, having been beaten only 4 lengths in the Bosra Sham Fillies’ Stakes (Listed Race) at Newmarket. Her dam, Hula Girl, is by a top broodmare sire in Oasis Dream. The Bated Breath x Oasis Dream cross is a proven success, with the likes of dual group winner Daahyeh and the 106 rated Could Be King. Bated Breath has sired more black type winners in the last five years than any other active British-based sire standing for £30,000 or less.

She ran a cracker when finishing third, only beaten half a length, on her second start and looks like a winner waiting to happen.”

She was purchased for £43,050 (41,000gns) and there is a 30% share remaining.
