Another Two Year Old Winner For The Yard

One record I have been incredibly proud of throughout the early stages of my career, is the perfromances of our two year olds - 2016 has been no exception, and of the five two year olds we have run this year, four have won maidens. Peter O' Callagahn's MOONLIT SHOW added her name to that list last Friday when running out a very cosy winner of a sux furlong maiden at Haydock. She is a filly I have always liked and one I hope will pick up some black type with, she might head to Ayr next weekend for the group three Firth of Clyde stakes. Otherwise it was a very quiet week however things hot up over the weekend. ARTFUL MIND has his first run for the stable tomorrow at Lingfield Park. It will very much be a fact finding mission as I am trying out lots of different things. His homework has been pleasing and I am hopeful of a good run. On Sunday I have my first runners in Ireland as both HIGH ON LOVE and SWEET ZAIN run in the Tattersalls Ireland Sales Race. The prize money for the race is very impressive, and as a result there is  strong field but both fillies deserve to be there and I can't wait to see how they get on.

Next week we have some more interesting runners - THEOCRATIC could head to Thursk for his debut, while another new comer to make the track could be BEAUCHAMP OPAL who will be my first runner for Mr Erik Penser. On top of these two we head back to our lucky racetrack Yarmouth where we could run both ZAIN EMPEROR and TWIN POINT.
